Purpose: To be a minister of justice
Mission Statement: To speak up for people who cannot speak for themselves, to stand up for what is right, and to judge all people fairly, so help me God (Proverbs 31:8-9)
Areas of Interest: Law, Writing (Storytelling), and Education
The Pen is my sword. War & Truth, my power and protection. For freedom, justice, and dignity for all.
simply, LADY JUSTICE
Born and raised in Los Angeles, I'm committed to administering justice in California; specifically, in Los Angeles or Orange County. To this end, I'm studying at Trinity Law to become a CA-licensed civil litigator, with $0 student debt, pursuant to Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 6060 (restated under Title IV, Div. 1, Ch. 3, R. 4.26 of the Rules of The State Bar of California).
Currently, I'm a law clerk under the Health Quality Enforcement section of the Civil Law Division in the Office of the Attorney General at the California Department of Justice. Previously, I served under the Correctional Law section, defending the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
Before law school, I worked in Hollywood, the capital of storytelling, as an analyst at CBS Interactive, a subdivision of CBS Corporation (now, ViacomCBS). Prior to Hollywood, I was a teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District and a charter school network.
For my education, I was a Clarendon Scholar at Oxford University in England. Prior to that, I earned two master's degrees; one with distinction from Oxford University and the other from the University of Southern California. For my undergraduate studies, I graduated in the top 10% with latin honors, and invitations to join Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and still more.
Every year, I travel to a different country; and so far, I visited countries throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Previously, I lived in England, Sweden, Taiwan, and South Korea. My favorite place on Earth is Gili Lankanfushi in the Maldives, separated from Vanity Affairs.
In my spare time, I watch the news, read the Wall Street Journal, take full advantage of my spa membership at Burke Williams Spa, pop and drink champagne, sip tea, shop online, eat, read, plan, meditate, pray, and sleep.
Currently, I live in Santa Monica with my dog (a Maltipoo rescue), named Oscar.
